What Is The Pass Rate Of Caia Exam
The CAIA Level II exam consists of 100 Multiple Choice Questions and three set of constructed answers to essay questions. Candidates will apply skills and knowledge to gain a deeper understanding of the problems associated with alternative investments.

Self-study packages start at $499 for all levels, and you pay $1,129 for access to live class reports, workshops and mock exams. Kaplan’s most expensive CAIA exam package is the most cost-effective, and you will be able to ask your teacher questions and participate in up to 10 weekly lively sessions.
If you pass the exam, you must have earned or completed a bachelor’s degree equivalent to 1 year of professional experience and have gained at least 4 years of professional experience before the university graduating. You must also join a CAIA association and submit two professional references to the association.
The percentage of candidates passing the CAIA exam varies from exam to exam. In 2017, less than 37% of candidates were able to pass on the first attempt the CAIA Level I and II tests. At each stage, the test is carried out during a period known as the window of the year from March to September.
Final exams of Level II are available six weeks before the last exam day and there is no need to grade essay questions. The September 2019 CAIA test pass rate was 52% for Level I and 64% for Level II. The pass rate for the CAIA at the most recent exam was 72% for those taking the Level I exam and 70 % for those taking the Level II exam.
